IRMA (Institute of Rural Management Anand) is conducting an in-depth analysis of the impact of AICTE's nationwide UHV effort. This comprehensive study examines the effectiveness and outcomes of our value-based education initiatives.
Meanwhile, several institutions have conducted independent surveys, studies, and published papers documenting the transformative impact of UHV programs on students, faculty, and educational institutions across India.
Holistic Value-based Education framework implemented nationwide
Founded on a holistic and humane world vision through Universal Human Values (UHV). These values are universal, rational, verifiable, and lead to harmony and wellbeing for all.
Courses, examples, and case studies that reinforce a holistic vision through India's rich heritage of science, technology, and systems focused on the wellbeing of all.
Education on world-class, nature-friendly, and human-friendly systems and technologies that enable sustainable and ethical professional practice.
AICTE established a focused Induction Program Cell to facilitate and coordinate UHV-related activities nationwide.
Two active National Committees: NC-UHV for strategy/content development and NCC-IP for implementation. These became joint UGC-AICTE committees in April 2022.
3-week SIP based on UHV with extensive IKS component for smooth transition to higher education, receiving highly encouraging results.
Implementation of mandatory 3-credit UHV-II course on understanding harmony and ethical human conduct with excellent uptake and results.
Initiation of minor degree in UHV in 2022, with courses offered through SWAYAM portal for self-learning.
From 2017-2022: 126,624 registrations, 80,063 attended, 43,169 mentors certified, 10,072 UHV-I faculty, and 7,410 UHV-II faculty prepared.

During the pandemic, all work transitioned to interactive online webinars, proving effective for large-scale implementation (1,000-10,000 participants).
In 2021, AICTE extended UHV services to Rajya Anand Sansthan, preparing principals and teachers for implementation in 300+ CM Rise Schools in Madhya Pradesh.
In 2022, UGC joined this effort and is now orienting its stakeholders and preparing faculty for Holistic Value-based Education. The entire UHV work is carried out by pro-bono volunteers, making it highly cost-effective for nationwide implementation.
